The agony continues for team
‘Thuppaki’! They will now have to wait up to 21st September to get a final word on the title row that is on with the film with a similar title -
‘Kalla Thuppaki’. A city court in Chennai has said that they would deliver a verdict on the issue this Friday and have postponed the case until next week.
It may be noted that the makers of
Vijay-starrer, ‘Thuppakki’ are keen to get on with things and had indicated about their intentions a few days ago. It is said the producers are eager to launch their teaser and then get to work with regard to the audio launch and press meet.
The plans are to release the film starring Vijay and
Kajal Agarwal and directed by
A. R. Murugadoss for
Diwali. It may be noted that Vijay is donning the role of a cop, and the film is touted to be a sleek action-drama film. However, with the title issue still dragging, their plans seem a bit shaky right now. With so many Kollywood films being pushed around all the time, this just seems like a film worth the wait!
