Shriyan Saran, the beauty from the South turns 30 today. One of the most recognized
stars in the film industry, Shriya has left a lovely memory for all to cherish.
Born and bought up in a family who are not associated with the film industry, Shriya
gracefully learned the art of dance and acting. She was trained by her mother in Kathak
and Rajasthani folk dance.
While in college, Shriya got an opportunity to do a photo shoot, after which following
her dance teacher's recommendation, she was invited to appear in the music video Renoo
Nathan's song. This opportunity gave her, her first break in the movie 'Ishtam'. She
has done several movies in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and English too.
The highest grossing movie she worked in was 'Sivaji: The Boss', with Rajinikath. She
was critically acclaimed for her role in the Hindi movie 'Awarapan' as well. Her debut
in English was with the movie 'The Other End of the Line', after which she is
considered as one of the most established actress in the South film industry.
Besides her work in films, Shriya has also been a brand ambassador for leading stores
and brands and also indulges in charity work.
Coming a long way with her talents and skills in expressive performance, Shriya Saran
is the woman of today.
