Apart from all the publicity and money that revolves around celebrity clothing that is auctioned at rates 10 times the cost of most of our houses put together, it is still an unknown fact - What does the buyer actually wish to do with his collection of superstar stars?
Now, you could be a collector of artifacts and you might think that keeping the blouse from 'The Dirty Picture' and the soap of 'Gabbar's servant from Sholay' (Going extreme like Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum) may be a collection you could sell for a super-bomb before you die and wither. Or you could just be a patient of OCD.
But how many buyers actually plan to wear the clothes they purchase via an auction?
This year has seen, Deepika Padukone's dresses from 'Cocktail' up for auction and now Sunny Leone seems to go all the way and is "auctioning her bikinis and lingerie FOR CHARITY!"
Well! Over 50 years ago, Marilyn Monroe's bikini was sold for over a huge sum of $ 45, 000. Now, all we Bollywood junkies can do is hold our breath, wait and watch if Sunny Leone manages to double that, 5 decades down the line.
But I still am very curious, what does the buyer really plan to do with Sunny's UGs!
